Hello Royden,
Never seen your mails before in this group, so a nice way to herald your
presence on this mailing list :o), i think that the software is not working.
actually what is most upsetting was the fact that i am using sendmail of my
machine to send mails out, and all this time i thought that i was bypassing
the company's SMTP server. i say this becoz, my prvious mail client sylpheed
was not able to send mail outside the company due to an authentication
problem with the corporate server. that's why i was taken aback to see the
disclaimer in the first place. i was also worried that Raju Mathur would hit
the roof if he saw it. whatever the reason, the disclaimer doesn't seem to be
working now, and while i have raised this issue at our employee comms meeting
with the management, the sys-admin defended the action saying that we have to
defend the company from any liability for the opinions expressed by an
employee. and all this time i thought that it was us end-users who were daft.
Thank You,
Regards,
mario
