11k got in , when my dumb email user, chose not to delete the mails from the
server after popping them.
and now he tells me that the mail client is hanging due to a high volume of
email.

i dont know, how to use mutt.
and after i use mutt, will be able to download the remaining email using my
email client ?

and there is no set pattern :-(.. so i guess, the only way is to delete all
his mails, if nothing works.

any other ideas?

Arvind

| If you have a shell on that server, the best way is to use mutt. T to tag
| mails according to a pattern, then ;d to delete all tagged mail.
|
| Where'd you get 11k mails into that mailbox?

| To change the default shell of an user, use the "chsh" utility
| Syntax: chsh [-s login_shell] [user]
