Heh!  I think it is time this luser was taught a lesson.  Tell the user that
it is not possible to delete 11K of the 11.5k emails in his pop server.  Use
a decent mail user agent such as mutt or pine or something like that.
Configure the mail user agent NOT to leave mails on the server.  Connect to
the server and download mail using the MUA.  Voila!

Sure.  But in this case, you have to configure mutt to leave mails on
server, download a copy of the emails, mark 11k of them deleted, connect
back to server to sync the deletions with the server.
