there is no way to compare, one OS is open source, that means that anybody is
free to examine the source code, whereas the other is well ..... crap. but
think of it this way what is the ratio of windows virii comapred to those in
linux ? for a home user, a virus threat is the biggest security threat IMHO.

not that i know of. all i know is that whenever a machine at work was
infected with a virus it was a M$ machine

interesting, don't forget to provide a link when it is done. for some info on
virii in linux, you can search on the exocore site, Raju and Atul have
co-authered a paper over there.
