Anyways, since you have already asked, let me tell you one thing
about BITS, Pilani. It's a deemed university and doesn't need AICTE
approval or any university affiliation for any of its courses. Its
considered equivalent. But the parties involved should decide whether
that deemed university can be banked upon. In this case, BITS is
realatively well known and so no issues. Since I'm a MS student of the
same thru collaborative program, I find that people have a negative
connotation about the word distance-learning. However, its upto you to
project your degree worthy as an oncampus degree, as it really is.
Govt. job, well legally or rule wise, theres no issues. However,
the people there would definitely try to create problems ( as we know
the govt depts ). So even there the issue is relative. Some depts
accept, some don't.
