For B.E. or B.Tech degress it need AICTE's approval and for
all such cases, BITS must have such approval. But degrees
like B.A in IT or BS are outside the preview of AICTE, so to
run such degree programs/ courses no approval of AICTE is
required.

Can we expect Govt. jobs, when govt. has started
disinvestment process. Govt. now a day, mainly give work on
contract basis. IMO, even if there is some govt job, chances
of such a degree holder is not much against B.Tech ( and you
know, how much B.Tech / B.E. in compuetr related field are
being produced by Engineering Colleges/ Universities? ),
unless you are a son or son-in-law of a minister or .....

Take it positively.
