On booting, I get following message:

... attempt to access beyond end of device ....
EXT2fs: unable to read superblock
.... Kernal panic: unable to mount root fs

Even I got same message, when I try to boot from floppy. Is
it possible to do some thing.

Can I read data from HDD by any mean?

Using plain text mails is a better idea. Especially on mailing
lists. These are readable by all, whereas HTML mail may not ..
Besides, they are smaller in size (bandwidth), with less risk
of script nuisance.
