Right, but only to relay the mails. AFAIK, it doesn't have any other
features other than that.

Nope. It's not a email client. nullmailer is useful when you dont want
to install a full featured MTA just to relay your mails through your
mail server. Mutt is not a SMTP client , so you need a sendmail
compatible binary installed in your box to send the mails.
