Dasu and Suresh have already told you how to create an /etc/wvdial.conf file. In case of doubt, just snip the section below and save as /etc/wvdial.conf with your details. It should work. Change ATDT to ATDP for pulse dial. Also change the modem device, baud rate and the Init2 string (as needed). -----------<snip>--------------------------- [Dialer Defaults] Phone = 9999999 Username = your_login Password = your_password Dial Command = ATDT New PPPD = yes Modem = /dev/ttyS0 Baud = 57600 Init1 = ATZ Init2 = AT&F E0 V1 E1 &C1 &D2 X3 L3 +FCLASS=0 ----------</snip>--------------------------- HTH Bish -- : ####[ Linux One Stanza Tip (LOST) ]########################### Sub : Disabling shell screensaver LOST #144 To turn off the terminal screen saver $setterm -blank 0 Its a function of the Linux console driver and not the shell ####<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>#################################### : ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: OSDN - Tired of that same old cell phone?
