What if you link your files to particular user directory for example I have my home directory at /home/kunal and my mail file is /var/spool/mail/kunal
you can link /var/spool/mail/kunal -> /home/kunal/mail ... this is just a thought, will it work ? --Kunal -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Linux Dev Sent: Tuesday, September 10, 2002 6:56 PM To: lih Subject: [LIH] <Q> bulk transfer of mail from /var/spool/mail/<user_name> to /home/<user_name> Hi: I am looking for a tool / software to do "automated" bulk transfer of mail from /var/spool/mail/<user_name> to the /home/<user_name> The daily per user mail size in /var/spool/mail/<user_name> is ~3Mb. The mail will be read by each user in pine and/or mail. Any ideas or pointers how to solve this ? Environment: RedHat Linux 7.3 Thanks for your time and consideration. regards Tom. __________________________________________________ Yahoo! - We Remember 9-11: A tribute to the more than 3,000 lives lost http://dir.remember.yahoo.com/tribute ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: OSDN - Tired of that same old cell phone?
