Dear friends,
Dont know the more techanicalities about it, but it happens like as
follows if some body is still interested:
1. server was running successfully in GUI mode.
2. I rebooted the server.
3. It ups successfully, but in text mode.
4. For a while (5-6 sec) it remains like that ...............
5. Suddenly (automaticaly, without giving any command) it started,
stopping some application (MySQL, PostGRE SQL, Squid, etc)
while started some application (Webmin, etc).
6. Then remain blank, again asking for login.
7. I was able to login as root. And able to restart the above
applications in text mode. (Only this way I was able to protact my
situation).
8. With the help of this Mail list. I stopped the server for five min.
boot the server. Login as root in text mode. run the xconfigurator.
Reboot the server, This way I was bale to recover from the problem.
With my little knowledge it may the problem of Xfree86.
Regards.
Arun
