Check EnGarde ... wont allow u telnet. U need console access.
RedHat .... well my man ... to install a S/W in RedHat u dont need MD5 .... i suppose we are getting flame of words abt who is right ...let me assure you that i dont intend to do so.

Tell me one Unix like OS which doesn't let you to enable telnet, will ya?
And FYI, RedHat has MD5 checksum verification code in the RPM system
since god knows when. So does debian, I believe.
