Add wmx to that list ... in fact, there are people here who use
oroborus or wmx or the likes on P4 machines with 128MB RAM and a 32MB
Vanta AGP card!

That's what I used on my old Pentium ... 96MB RAM though, not 32MB.
What I am looking for is an easy alternative for simple users ... you
know, at the end of installation, the distro provides a choice: "You
have limited hardware supports ... so here are you options."
Atleast a good document on what all people can tweak to keep their
Pentium's useful ... again, I am talking about simple home users. If
none exists, any suggestions and experiences? I would like to start a
mini-desktop-mini-HOWTO ;-)
