When you do apt-get update to download from the debian tree over the
net, in future any package which you install using apt-get install will
go on the net to install the latest version.
Is there any way other than doing apt-cdrom add all over again for all
the debian CD's ? Any way to tell apt-get to install from the local CD's
rather than net in case a little earlier version is available.
apt-cache shows both the versions but since the net version is latest
apt-get tries to install that.
Anybody knows any switch or some configuration changes to force apt-get
to install from the local CD's when not connected to net.
Peace

Sub : Manipulating DOS floppies LOST #188
There is package called "mtools" just for this. Once installed
you can do manipulation of DOS floppies/ partitions using all
commonly used DOS syntax with prefix of "m" ... For example :
mcopy a:/test.txt /home/usr/. For directory listing: mdir a:;
or mformat a: to format a: as msdos floppy
