[LIH]PCQlinux installation woes..continued

Hi
thanx for ur suggestions for my PCQL problems!but..actually none of them seemed to work:(i deleted the xtended partition and tried to install linux but it didn't recognize the free space..it returned an error 0-unrecognised partition type.after a lot of tries i finally managed to get it recognised(i still don't know how i did it!)but the installation aborted bcos the partition was unallocated since the cylinder or somethin was greater than 1024.pls help me guys-thanx for ur past n future responses!
