you have no other choice than backup all your data,
create a small 100 MB linux partition in the fore ground
area of the HD as primary partition,
then allocate any amount of space to
your other OS as primary alone or 
primary + extended and the sort
and at the end make a new primary
partition.
do your partitioning using fdisk from the 
install cd.
Then may be you can install Linux.
