Offering courses to prepare for RHCE is one thing. I am sure they will
find gullible people to take the course.

The question is, how many of these people can take the test and get
through?? RHCE has one multiple choice paper and two lab exams. Reading
through a book or attending a week's crash course at NIIT won't help,
IMO. Practical experience handling Linux and an intelligent mind are
required.

On the whole, if one discounts such certifications as Microsoft Certified
Solitaire Expert, the other ones can only help on a resume.
