hi listers, i want to make a simple transmitter circuit which would attach to the serial or parallel port of a machine attached to the school network. Then i want to access the school network maybe over ppp from a reciever connected to the serial/parallel port of my machine in my room. The distance is around 100 mtrs. A radio transimitter/reciever would be needed as the transmitter/reciever won't be in direct contact of each other. Is this possible - i know it is but is it practical and cheap to implement ? I want to learn about radios and such so i really want to design this on my own and did'nt know where to ask so i asked here.
