IMO, 
1. you will have to use the serial ports only,
2. Data from the port will have to be converted into tones (as in
telephones) and fed to the transmitter. 3. Tones received over the
receiver will have to be converted back to data (simple electronics) and
fed to the serial port. 4. You will need to develop software for
communication (not my field)
