By the way, the first computer network setup at Hawai used radio transmitters and was named ALOHA. Here's an idea. Get hold of a couple of FM transreceivers, FM would be better immune to noise. You would have to get DA/AD converters which would be between your PC port and the transreceivers. Lastly you would have to programe the port to handle the communication. Good Luck.
