Sharing of files between ext2 and NTFS as of now is read-only
which suffices for most situations. If you need write access
from both Linux and NT, it is best to choose a partition type
which both these can access viz 32 or 16 bit M$ partitions.
(viz types "c" and "e" type partitions under Linux fdisk),
mounted as vfat and msdos respectively under Linux.

For Win to ext2 ... explore2fs.exe
For ext2 to NT ... insmod ntfs.o

Both these are suitable for read only operations.
