Hi, tftp, is a ftp server. ftp is ftp client which can access other ftp servers.
In case you want to say that the ftp server is not working, then check your firewall rules ( iptables) try doing a telnet to port 69. Check the /var/log/messages after starting xinetd. In case you are referring to the ftp cleint and want to access another ftp server. then you need to install that rpm. Regards, Vijay. On Thu, 2003-09-25 at 11:45, P.K.
