I too, considering the idea of dropping BSNL connection and to try
reliance fixed 
wireless phone, does any body has tried the combination ??? please share
the financial and technical aspects

I was toying around idea of dumping BSNL connection and get reliance
fixed 
wireless phone. But apparently local webworld has run out of instruments
3 
months ago and hasn't received any more of them since.

Anyway from what I understand, the fixed wireless set uses RJ45 to
serial cable. 
It hooks in network port of PC and serial port of phone. Now that's one
heck of 
non standard configuration. They sell the cable for 1200/-. What a piece
of crap..
