Nostalgia..... :-)
Minicom has x,y,z modem and a ascii mode for sending. Of these only
the ascii mode is able to send any file... but partly. The others just
don't do anything. On the other hand, minincom has only the x,y and z
modems for receiving, and I have absolutely no clue how to set them.
Google-ing on the net, I came across some shareware programs for reading
the CP/M diskettes and transferring the files to DOS, So now I have the
CP/M files transferred. I also found some programs for emulating the
CP/M and Z80 environment within DOS. But this emulation is for CP/M ver
1.0 and I need ver 2.2, otherwise the transferred files do not run
properly.
All this is for replacing the z80 based computer of a Sanyo
chip-mounting m/c with a modern PC.
