Have used minicom and I can use #2 as a dumb terminal, but that's about all. The major problem is getting files into and out of the CP/M box. There are two programs FRCV.COM and FTRN.COM on the CP/M side, for the communication part, but I have still to figure out how to get them to talk to the Linux box. Does CP/M run on Pentiums ? I have come across emulators only, but will they run all the programs that the CP/M system requires ? By the way, all this is to replace an ageing Z80 based computer controlling a Sanyo chip-mounting m/c. Regards, -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ K. Ghosh, G. K.
