Have used minicom and I can use #2 as a dumb terminal, but that's about
all. The major problem is getting files into and out of the CP/M box.
There are two programs FRCV.COM and FTRN.COM on the CP/M side, for the 
communication part, but I have still to figure out how to get them to
talk to the Linux box.

Does CP/M run on Pentiums ? I have come across emulators only, but will
they run all the programs that the CP/M system requires ?

By the way, all this is to replace an ageing Z80 based computer
controlling a Sanyo chip-mounting m/c.
