The situation is this -
We have a Sanyo Chip mounting machine which has a Z80 based computer to
control it. This runs on CP/M ver 2.2. There is a second computer, also
Z80 based, also running CP/M 2.2, has two FDDs only, and this is used to
write, store and load programs into the chip mounter, as and when needed
using a program named ET10.COM. The two are connected by a RS232C link.
The second computer's FDDs are failing, so I need to replace the second
computer with a Pentium PC (don't have 286/386/486).
Presently, I have been able to load CPM-86 into the Pentium HDD and all
commands are running fine. But ET10.COM refuses to run since it runs
only on CPM2.2. So, I need either a translator for the program ET10 or
an emulator to run CPM2.2 inside CPM86.
Another way I have been trying is talking to the Z80 computer using
minicom on a linux box, to upload or download files to the Z80 on the
chip mounter. Only partial success so far.

Anything you feel you can contribute will be of immense help.
