FrontTech has a TV hardware box that can be run void of os. It is purely hardware functional so no o.s. dependency and doesnt use CPU processing, with remote control and 255 channels. Features include toggle between computer and t.v and video as well as audio toggles by this. Costs around 2500/- Magic TV Box is the name if i remember right.
