Has somebody got sound working in slakware 9.1, with an AC97 card (the
one that comes with an Intel i845)? It just worked in RH 9 :(
I don't have access to that PC right now, but I did all the usual
things (lspci to identify the device - which it did, then googling for
copy and paste stuff into modules.conf, unmuting the sound using
aumix)
Doesn't play anything .. but doesn't throw an error either.
Can somebody help? That'll let me shake off using XP on that
particular box for a while :)
