[EMAIL PROTECTED]: less /var/log/messages | grep Conexant Feb 16 09:27:41 darkstar insmod: Warning: loading /lib/modules/2.4.22/misc/ hsfengine.o will taint the kernel: non-GPL license. This shouldn't matter as the driver worked flawlessly on RH,MDK . It does work on Slk ,but ocassionally hangs. > What's the output of a dmesg, and an lsmod (assuming this conexant modem > is loaded with a kernel module of some sort)? dmesg does not have any info regarding the modem and so does lsmod. No driver is loaded by the kernel at bootup . raghuram. > ------------------------------------------------------- > SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now. > Build and deploy apps & Web services for Linux with > a free DVD software kit from IBM.
