I tried to install PCQLinux 2004 on an HCL box having SCSI HDD and RAID
support but failed. Previously, I installed RH 9.0 it was working fine. The CD is OK and running well, it shows initial messages and it hangs when
reaches to SCSI driver with the message "Searching for SCSI driver
aix7xxx". Please suggest the solution.regards,
AIC7xxx is the adaptec SCSI driver. Maybe the default kernel isnt compiled with SCSI support? Check if there are other kernels available on the CD.
