While on the subject of preventing spam, could someone please share horror/success stories of using Sender Address Verification [ala callbacks in Exim] before accepting mails?
One other thing - verizon has been trying callbacks for quite some time, only to find that it doesnt really produce any results except to get a whole bunch of admins pissed off at them.
See for example: the nanog thread starting at http://www.merit.edu/mail.archives/nanog/2003-12/msg00008.html
