Looked at it just about when it came out. I think it's a good idea for configuring on one's personal mailbox, if the consequences are fully understood, but certainly a bad idea for a server/site/domain wide installation.
it is a bad idea even on a personal mailbox - but you certainly can get some code from there to auto-whitelist senders.
in any case you'd have to work out something to cache callout data (though exim does this pretty well by default)
