try 'linux root="/dev/hdnx" ' at the lilo boot prompt, in woody I dont
remember correctly but in woody it comes after pressing alt+x.

I am also not sure whether kernel 2.6.3 can be loaded using lilo, I think it
requires grub.

please correct me if I am wrong here.
