Rather than editing /etc/passwd or /etc/shadow files, I'd suggest:

groupmod -g ggg spavri
usermod -u uuu spavri

where ggg and uuu are the GID and UID from the other machine. After that, you need to 
run:

find / -group oldgid | xargs chgrp newgid
find / -user olduid | xargs chown newuid

Needless to say, all the above must be done as root.
