Hello,
I have installed linux to dual boot along with windows 98 on a
machine. The bootloader used is lilo and is installed on the first
sector of the MBR. Now I wanted to change my bootloader to grub. So I
used the grub-install script and I got the message that grub has been
successfully installed.

# grub-install /dev/hdc //I have 2 harddisks and I have installed
linux on the 2nd.

But when I reboot my machine, I still have the lilo bootloader. Is
there anything I missed doing? My hunch is grub is not being installed
in the first boot sector - if so then how do I install grub in the
first boot sector?

Will running :
# grub-install /dev/hda
help? I have windows 98 on hda drive. So I did not do this as I was not sure.

thanks in advance
Ravi
