Depends, if you want to sit around patching a whole lot of features into qmail when you find them readily available as standard features on other MTAs .. and then when you suddenly find one of the patches you're applying doesnt play well with some other patch you've applied and still need ...

If you can read and understand Dan's code, and if you dont mind patching
and repatching then qmail is quite powerful.

If you'd rather spend your time doing other stuff then qmail is not the
right choice for you
