We can see the same from now onwards as RHEL too has almost the same
release cycle as Debian ( 2yrs IIRC)

How do you compare here ? On what grounds do you find RH to be more
maintainable than Debian in terms of "maintainability" ???

Why not go for "Linux From Scratch" then ??

And write another package management tool when you reach to the
conclusion that you need to do an upgrade of the system and you can't
make out 2 weeks of time from your busy schedule just to keep doing
the same old "souce code compilation".
