I do not have a "fetchall" in my .fetchmailrc file. I have listed the
.fetchmailrc file below:
//Start of .fetchmailrc file
set postmaster "ravi"
#set bouncemail
poll pop.gmail.com with proto POP3 and options no dns
user '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' is 'ravi' here options ssl
//End of .fetchmailrc file
Now when I give the command :
$ fetchmail -v --keep
It asks for password and then starts downloading the whole lot of
mails on my gmail server account. While I want only the unread ones.

Is it to be set in the .muttrc file ? I set it there.

I tried the above but mutt was hanging with the message "Connecting to
gmail.com...". Is there any option to tell mutt that it is to try
using ssl? Google states that with incomming mail (POP3), you should
use ssl with port 995.

I got this right. Thanks for the tip.
