Hi,
I too am using the same things as Binand and I agree with his
observation. But it is true that I had some problems in the begining
but I could sort out all of them. In fact I had posted the entire
config file for the benefit of others in the list. Perhaps you can see
the archives.

I never thought the Trident Image 975 AGP card as "cheapo". Anyway,
I have been using this card for quite some time, and the display is
fantastic. I didn't even have to touch XF86Config file - everything
was done for me by Xconfigurator. It is RHL 6.0, and X is 3.3.3. The
monitor is ViewSonic E 40. I have been running SO 5.0 on this system,
and there has never been a problem.
