Well on my PC, i have an fb.modes file (part of fbset) which has got
tonnes of modelines and i keep switching between them by running
fbset "modeline"

Heh, hacl libvga.config and set the chipset type to VESA. It might work!
On the i810, i got Quake up that way.
But what about libggi? svgalib has a ggi compatible port right?
