Shanu, I think depth can be changed dynamically but not the resolution.
I think you get it here. I mean we can change between 8 bit and 16 bit depth
maybe, but changing resolutions like from 800x600 to 1024x768 ain't possible.
Anyway I never gave that thing a try.
Anyway since I have not tried and the manual says something like both
resolution and depth can be changed, I think I might be wrong and you might
be right !! ;-)
Maybe rohit could try that and let us know ;-)
cause I am completely living on console and emacs ;-) and am not using FBdev
anymore cause svgalib does not work properly with FB and I cannot play
quake full screen without svgalib and switched over to normal console
without x ;-(
