I had similar problems with some mobile networks. This problem seems to
exsist with 
a couple of mobile-providers. With some you have to pay for datacalls -
some do not
seem to support them at all.
I pretty much use the same setup (SH888 + Toshiba Sat 4000cds) and
things work fine!


Try a different provider if you can.
