Hi, I've also got an N505X, which I haven't been able to get to do
Irda yet. What kernel and utils revision are you useing?

I've got kernel 2.3.39 installed, but I don't have 'nsc-ircc', I do
have smc-ircc & nsc_fir though?

The linux IRDA stuff is being updated for 2.3.x isn't it? Or are we
going to end up with one of thoses horrible situations that ISDN was
in and Raid is trying to get out of?
