This is true. I also use SuSE :). However, I think RedHat also has options for
install in Italien (not sure about user handbook) and they've recently been
named by IBM for working with Thinkpads.

I would recommend SuSE or Debian to Linux users and RedHat to Windows users
for IBM at this point.
