It is possible to install two operating systems on the same disc!
Use 'LILO' to chosse OS at boot time.

There are other distributions... 
For myself I prefer SuSE - but I don't want to start a discussion about 
this here.
I'm not really sure but I think you can bye the international version
with handbook and configuration-tool in italian language.
