Hi Peter

I have an ARM TS759. Not sure how similar it is to the TS3100 (it has no
DVD, but it was an option). I have been very happy with it, and eveything
has worked natively under linux except sound (ESS 1968s - maestro 2) which
does work with the OSS drivers. I really haven't mucked with the APM
support much though. The 14" display works great with SVGA server
(3.3.3.1-49)

I dual boot win98 too, but hardly use it.

All in al, I'm very happy with it, and it was darn cheap compared to
similarily equiped machines late last year. If I recall correctly, the
display and many of the internals are identical to an IBM thinkpad, which
is where I got my video info from when setting up X.

Feel free to contact me offline for any specifics once you know what's the
same on mine and yours :)
