This has a ATI Rage Pro LT, which is pretty much the only decent 3D
chipset available on laptops that I've seen, but probably different from
what you have. I think the "normal" Rage Pro is supported, but I'm not
sure.

My current machine has been totally Windows free for the past two years,
but I want have DVD and use the 3D features of the ATI card (to play Quake
3 Arena) so I pretty much have to install windows for that :(
Oh, and I want to play Starcraft... So sue me...

Great. I'm pretty impressed with the price considering similarly equipped
machines from say Dell cost over $3000 and have WORSE specs than what I'm
looking at. It's good to have a vote of confidence from a satisfied buyer
