I use two different ethernet cards. You can set up
/etc/pcmcia/network.opts to recognize the two different MAC addresses and
bring up the network in two different configurations.

I dont know if this works with the latest kernels where the PCMCIA support
is part of the kernel.

This is convenient if you for example have different ethernet cards at
different locations. The only problem that I have had doing this is that
netscape seems to hang when loading java applets when it was initially
when a different ethernet card was in the machine (different IP address,
etc)....Does anyone know a solution to this?
