I've no idea. All I know at the moment is this:
1. I tried the standard zipslack 7 with no problems. This would suggest
that the problem is not with the basic system. My problems are purely with
bigslack 7.
2. Zipslack/bigslack are the UMSDOS versions, not native linux file systems.
The problem could be due to something here...
3. I am very much a linux newbie, and need help!
