Hi.
I'm running Slackware 7 (the bigslack UMSDOS version).
Whenever I try to list a large directory (or do a recursive list) Linux
crashes with the following error:
Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000004
Current-> tss.cr3 = 03f53000, %cr3 = 03f53000
*pde = 00000000
Oops: 0000
CPU: 0
EIP: 0010:[<c012dcbe>]
EFLAGS: 00010007
This requires a poweroff/poweron.
Any ideas gratefully received!
Incidentally, running the same thing in X causes a complete lockup, again
requiring use of the Big Red Switch...
Regards,
Austin.
